  3. Carbon Offsetting: Some NFT platforms are taking responsibility by offering carbon offsetting initiatives. Artists and collectors can purchase carbon credits to neutralize the environmental impact of their NFTs, allowing the art world to continue flourishing without harming the planet.

Platforms like Tezos and Flow are also emerging as more sustainable options for artists and collectors who want to minimize their environmental footprint. These platforms operate on energy-efficient consensus mechanisms that drastically reduce the carbon footprint associated with NFTs.
